Do I need a boating license to rent a jet ski in South Beach, Florida?
Yes—but only if you were born on or after January 1, 1988. Florida law requires these riders to present a boater education ID card or pass a temporary boating safety test online before renting. It’s quick and easy, taking just 15–20 minutes. We’ll send you the link when you book.
What are the age requirements to rent or ride a jet ski?
You must be 16 years or older to rent a jet ski. To operate a jet ski, you must be at least 16 years old with a valid photo ID. All minors must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before participating.
How long are the jet ski rentals?
We offer flexible rental options including:
- 30-minute rides (great for first-timers)
- 1-hour rides (our most popular option)
- 90-minute+ extended rides or guided tours available upon request. All rentals include orientation, safety gear, and fuel.

Can I switch drivers during the rental?
Yes! As long as both riders meet the age and ID requirements and have signed waivers, you can switch drivers mid-ride. Just let our team know in advance and switch only in approved areas or during a stop.
